Messaging transparency

Consent should feel clear.

HUMASPHERE helps people preserve family stories in their own words. This page documents exactly how a recipient is invited, gives consent, receives prompts, and opts out.

How consent works

01

A gift is purchased.

A purchaser provides a recipient’s phone number solely to deliver one clearly identified gift invitation.
02

The recipient decides.

The invitation explains the program and asks the recipient to reply YES. The purchaser cannot consent on the recipient’s behalf.
03

Messaging starts only after YES.

Without an affirmative YES reply, no recurring story questions are sent.
04

STOP is immediate.

The recipient can reply STOP at any time. HELP returns support information.

Program terms

  • Purpose: customer care and account notifications related to a private family-story archive.
  • Frequency: at most one optional story question per day, normally around 9:00 AM in the recipient’s local time zone, plus necessary service or compliance messages.
  • Charges: message and data rates may apply.
  • Consent: consent is not a condition of purchase. Recipients who do not reply YES receive no recurring prompts.
  • Opt out: reply STOP to end messages. Reply HELP for help.
  • Privacy: replies are stored in the recipient’s private archive and are visible only to people authorized by the archive owner.
